Revolutionary iPhone

This is the perfect time to introduce a revolutionary gadget in my research presentation. iPhone is a multi-media and internet-enabled quad-band GSM-EDGE supported mobile phone designed and sold by Apple Inc. Here’s a short news segment by ABC News that shows why iPhone is a revolutionary product:

Currently Apple Inc. is selling iPhone through its exclusive partner AT&T in the United States only. Apple is expected to release iPhone for the Canadian market sometime before Christmas this year through Rogers Wireless. However, the high wireless data rates might delay its release in Canada.

Once introduced in Canada, iPhone will impact how media is produced and distributed in Canadian territory. This brings an exciting incentive for me to produce an entertainment product that could use this revolutionary product. Now I don’t have to wait until Apple and Rogers finalize their marketing strategy because unlocked iPhones are available in the US that will work using Rogers registered SIM cards. Here’s the best part, iPhone is WiFi-enabled, meaning if there’s an open wireless connection available, you have free internet access!

I just sold my Blackberry Pearl and iPod, generating a perfect amount to get an unlocked iPhone, which is coming this Tuesday from Houston. I could’ve waited a bit longer but this is a perfect gadget for me to have so I can explore the possibilities when web and television interact through the use of mobile devices. Also, Apple was granted a patent on the mobile device that converges a cell phone, a portable music player and internet with a touch screen interface, which makes my purchase a sound investment or at least gives me a rational reason for justifying my actions!
